Don't hurry

Hurry saps joy out of life. You dont enjoy life. Therefore, get down on knees and pray together with your family.

"Lord, teach us to number our days"
"Lord, relent, please have mercy on us"
It is about changing our attitude, not counting our days. Making wise use of the time we have. We are like new grass in the morning but withered grass in the evening.
Ps 90
God is angry at sin and sinners.

Wise families would do the math.
In vain you rise up early and stay up late...Get rest. Enjoy sleeping. He gives sleep to those whom He loves.
Enjoy eating. Good food. Don't hurry.
Discover the one thing that really matters...Love God and your neighboor as yourself....because nothing in this life that you do will matter, unless you love God. Whatever you do, do for the glory of God. Run everything through this "pipe". We were made to magnify God.

Are you teaching your children to feed on the Word of God?
How do you spend your time and money? Teach your kids the importance of loving and serving.
Wise families will let go of clutter, the stuff that keeps them from doing the important thing.

Declare war on hurry! Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life.

Its not what you do, but why or for whom you do it.

You have trouble in your life to humble you and test you. Live not by bread alone but by every Word proceeding out of the mouth of God.

To work on time

I had the intention of leaving to work on time this morning, but I left late because the freezing rain last night froze my door shut, and windows required heavy scraping. I was able to get in the car after some prying, and scraped a "hole" big enough to see ahead of me through the windshield (not best practice). After asking the Lord for help in getting to work on time, I arrived safely, and with a minute to spare :) Praise God!
