How is your fruit?

You were appointed, chosen, to be a fruit bearer. Gal 5:16-26 One question to ask yourself: am I more in love with Jesus today than a year ago? Do I bear more fruit for the Lord today, than a year ago? Think about this: everything has a cycle. Season, dishwashers, marriages, addiction, and even producing fruit for the Lord. Heb 10:14 you are immediately made sanctified in Christ. :::Cycle of fruitfulness::: 1) recognize the Spirit and walk in the Spirit, and so you will drive out sin. Kind of like a room that is dark because the light is not on; to "remove" the dark, you turn on the light (See Gal 5:16-26, Rom 6:10-11; see yourself dead to sin) 2) application: sow into the Spirit (See Gal 6:7-9, Rom 6: Paul says our old sin nature is dead when we are with Christ. What Christ killed, what are we doing resurrecting it?) So why do we still sin? Because though your Spirit is renewed, your mind and your flesh still speak your old language. In a way, your habits have to be conform

Journal the rice cake

Aliza is so wonderful. I have a little journal where I record my food intake for the day and my little sweetheart brought me a rice cake and the journal and said "here you go dad, eat this and record it in the journal."

A permanent resident

After the fall, God would visit people. Moses and the burning bush, etc. But God would prefer to not be a visitor in your life, but would like to be a permanent resident in your life. Emmanuel: God with us. There's only one seat at a place where God habituates that He will accept, and that's the throne. As a permanent dwelling place, given to God to stay in your life. Think about a guest coming to your house, and the guest wanting to sit in your favorite chair. It wouldn't be hard To let them sit in that chair because you know they will eventually leave. But would you give up your favorite chair permanently for God?

Almost free

Sharks are such animals that they grow according to their surroundings and boundaries. That means if they are placed in a small tank, they will only grow to a limited size. Exodus ch8:25 Pharaoh agreed to let people go but he wanted to keep restrictions on them. "Whom the Son sets free, he is free indeed." Believers are able to adapt and try to do ministry with chains on. For example doing ministry with addictions. God didn't say "loosen the chains" but said "Let my people go!" You cannot serve two masters. You cannot try to serve God and hold onto your old ways. Serving win boundaries will stunt your growth...you will be held back. Also, being a witness is part of who you are! It's not something that you turn on and off at your convenience on a Saturday outreach. (Listen to CITW message from today) Fanatic: someone who serves the Lord in such a way that you are bothered by it. They are more sold out than you.

Giants and mountains

David slung the stone towards Goliath, the stone represented the stone the builders rejected and it hit the death blow to the giant right between the eyes... The giants are right there in your head... The giants you are fighting are in your head... The mountains are in your thoughts.

We are like conduit

We are like conduit inside our homes; carrying current inside. We have to be connected to the source. We have to work to eat... So we have to work to grow spiritually to see a result. God can convict, but He doesn't condemn. Vessels of gold and silver...best conductors. Maintain yourself as a good conductor for God. Grace can be seen as the power to do what is right.

A new government

You don't know the outcome, you don't have to try to figure it out. You just have to obey. Is 9 For tells of a new government. 1) intervention 2) bring light 3) bring joy Jesus is bringing a whole new way to live. 1) a new leader -you are dependent on the shepherd -has absolute authority 2) a new law 3) a new liberty
