Almost free

Sharks are such animals that they grow according to their surroundings and boundaries. That means if they are placed in a small tank, they will only grow to a limited size.

Exodus ch8:25
Pharaoh agreed to let people go but he wanted to keep restrictions on them.

"Whom the Son sets free, he is free indeed."

Believers are able to adapt and try to do ministry with chains on.
For example doing ministry with addictions.

God didn't say "loosen the chains" but said "Let my people go!"

You cannot serve two masters. You cannot try to serve God and hold onto your old ways.

Serving win boundaries will stunt your growth...you will be held back.

Also, being a witness is part of who you are! It's not something that you turn on and off at your convenience on a Saturday outreach. (Listen to CITW message from today)

Fanatic: someone who serves the Lord in such a way that you are bothered by it. They are more sold out than you.

To work on time

I had the intention of leaving to work on time this morning, but I left late because the freezing rain last night froze my door shut, and windows required heavy scraping. I was able to get in the car after some prying, and scraped a "hole" big enough to see ahead of me through the windshield (not best practice). After asking the Lord for help in getting to work on time, I arrived safely, and with a minute to spare :) Praise God!

I no longer make the best fried fish

Last night for dinner I made some fried fish. Aliza said it is the best fried fish. This morning, it is the first thing she said also, "Daddy, you make the best fried fish". I hugged her, and we went downstairs. It's Monday, so I'm getting some things ready before I head out the door, and she asked for some chocolate covered pretzels...I gave her a couple and she cries out for more. When I denied her request for more, she cries and yells "You don't make the best fried fish!"

Update

Much happened since the last 3 months, and I should have kept up with posting updates, but I was lazy. I'm sorry. I'm going to mention one marvelous testimony for now. On October 13, I went to see a doctor for the results of a test a week prior. Since a few months before then, I felt shortness of breath and chest discomfort, and that's why I went to the doc in the first place. So, on the 13th, doc said I had class 1 heart failure, outputting 35% of blood. I was put on meds, and began praying for healing. I prayed with my wife, I prayed with the prayer team at church, and believed I would be healed, though often the devil lied to me with doubt that it would not happen. This past Friday, Nov 6th, however, I went in for an angiograph, to see if the coronary arteries were part of the issue. After the test, the doctor stated that the heart was beating just fine, without problems! God's timing is perfect!
