Joy to the world the Lord has come

Based on psalm 98

God’s promises are truly,  unlike men's promises. His second coming is at hand.

2 Peter 3:9-11

He's waiting for us to speed the Gospel. We are stewards of the mysteries. Have you been faithful in that stewardship? Live a life of evangelism. Share the Gospel.

Christmas is a good time to also celebrate Christ's second coming.

The celebration has been twisted by Satan to become commercialized and a frantic,  stressful time.

The Lord's second coming should not be a fearful awaiting... Stashing food and weapons... But you should love His appearing.

Always examine your life in light of his return.

Acts 1:11

Live with intensity.
Are you going to live knowing that Jesus could come back this year? Will you live this new year like you lived this past year? If so, you're likely to get the same result.

The saved are born twice and die once and are raised in the first resurrection. The unsaved are born once and die twice,  are raised in the second resurrection and are judged and die a second time.

We have a mandate to reach those who don't know the Savior. Let's live for an audience of one... The Lord alone. He's the only one we should work to impress.

Today

Today I was led by the Spirit to take specific turns on Elgin roads and talk to specific people. When I talked to them, I offered them bread and bananas donated to the church from trader joes. It was awesome, as the people were open to receive these blessings from God, and I had a wonderful time experiencing taking part in God's work. Amazing! I have also been thinking since I have been involved in this ministry, that I could have been doing this years ago, and evangelizing to people. What was the cause of me not coming to this point earlier?

How do you know you have a servant heart?

 Gen 39:9 One way you know walking through a field if it's ready for harvest is when it is bending towards the earth. If you want to be happy in serving Jesus there's only one fulfillment in getting true joy: how much can you give... Jesus says let me show you how my kingdom works... When he washed his friends feet Do you want to be great in His kingdom? That is how you get that position... To be a servant of all, esteem everyone better than yourself

Mens ministry message

theres a battle. like a military operation, take control of the operation. we are to hold the ground until He comes. at our employer. at our friends. in all situations. dont be timid. speak, confess over your situation. speak the Word, the scripture over your situauin and reapeat it over you. just speak the Word. speak over your employment situation, etc. the gifts of ministry, teaching, preaching exhortation, etc, each has a gift. we were just all commanded to  speak the gospel to all the parts of the world. we may not all have been called to teach, preach, etc.
