Understanding is good

I wrote in a recent post about a decision to share experiences by writing about them, and that God had put this on my heart. A few minutes ago, I read Corinthians 14, and I was reflecting on what Paul wanted to get across. I saw that the "edification of the church" and "fruitful understanding" were repeated statements in the first half of the chapter.

Now, looking at this, and at the decision, I see how the sharing of these experiences may edify the church! This is exciting and amazing! Thanks be to the Merciful One. Amen.

To work on time

I had the intention of leaving to work on time this morning, but I left late because the freezing rain last night froze my door shut, and windows required heavy scraping. I was able to get in the car after some prying, and scraped a "hole" big enough to see ahead of me through the windshield (not best practice). After asking the Lord for help in getting to work on time, I arrived safely, and with a minute to spare :) Praise God!

Oneness - joined together in unity. Moving in the same direction. Same goals.  You don't want everyone to be the same as you. We were made different for the following reason: 1 Cor 12:25 Gen 2:24, Mat 19:3-8, Mark 10:2, Eph 5:25-27, 1 Cor 6:15-17 : The use of one flesh has been used five times. When man and female come together the union is part of the image of God... As the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one. How do you become one... Let's consider how we became one spirit with the Lord...we had to die. Die to self. It is similar with our spouse...we have to die to self. Often times we focus on being right...but we should focus on being right with our spouse.  The key to a successful Christian life? You must die to yourself. The key to a successful marriage? Yo...
