Vision 2010

Jessica and I spent some time together today to pray about and talk
about Vision 2010. In this vision, we shared our goals for this new
year, and how we will go about accomplishing them. For example, I set
a goal to devote more and more time to God, and I will accomplish this
by spending time with God at breakfast and before bed.
Another goal I have is to have a regular exercise regimen that I would
stick to. I will accomplish this by doing cardio or strength training
3 times a week; not too much, not too little.

I encourage you to set goals for this year. Goals that will grow you
as a servant of God and a husband or wife or son or daughter. You can
limit the list of goals, as I have done, to ten. Then ask God for
strength and perseverence to accomplish those goals.

May God bless you,

Krzysztof Miszczak

To work on time

I had the intention of leaving to work on time this morning, but I left late because the freezing rain last night froze my door shut, and windows required heavy scraping. I was able to get in the car after some prying, and scraped a "hole" big enough to see ahead of me through the windshield (not best practice). After asking the Lord for help in getting to work on time, I arrived safely, and with a minute to spare :) Praise God!

I no longer make the best fried fish

Last night for dinner I made some fried fish. Aliza said it is the best fried fish. This morning, it is the first thing she said also, "Daddy, you make the best fried fish". I hugged her, and we went downstairs. It's Monday, so I'm getting some things ready before I head out the door, and she asked for some chocolate covered pretzels...I gave her a couple and she cries out for more. When I denied her request for more, she cries and yells "You don't make the best fried fish!"

Update

Much happened since the last 3 months, and I should have kept up with posting updates, but I was lazy. I'm sorry. I'm going to mention one marvelous testimony for now. On October 13, I went to see a doctor for the results of a test a week prior. Since a few months before then, I felt shortness of breath and chest discomfort, and that's why I went to the doc in the first place. So, on the 13th, doc said I had class 1 heart failure, outputting 35% of blood. I was put on meds, and began praying for healing. I prayed with my wife, I prayed with the prayer team at church, and believed I would be healed, though often the devil lied to me with doubt that it would not happen. This past Friday, Nov 6th, however, I went in for an angiograph, to see if the coronary arteries were part of the issue. After the test, the doctor stated that the heart was beating just fine, without problems! God's timing is perfect!
