New Wineskins

Read Luke 5:33-39

When God is doing something inside of you there will be pressure and there will be adjustment that will be required.
Old wineskins can't handle the pressure.

Are you looking for God to give you something new? Perhaps you're not getting it because you're not ready for the pressure.

Old. Old wineskins. Dry resistant brittle not flexible...dry spiritualy, cracks easily...when the littlest things begin to crack and offend you easily... Resistant to change.
Young vision. Old wineskins is not about age but about vision. One can be old in age but have a young vision...

New. New wineskins. Jesus came to the Jews first. But He couldn't find many old wine skins that were willing to be renewed.

Sermon Notes from January 18, 2015

Sermon notes, CITW, January 18, 2015 "Necessity of Oneness" The devil plants lies in peoples minds. The only way you're going to be truly happy is by following the principles found in the Word. Let's consider how we became one spirit with the Lord...we had to die. Die to self. It is similar with our spouse...we have to die to self. Often times we focus on being right...but we should focus on being right with our spouse.  The key to a successful Christian life? You must die to yourself. The key to a successful marriage? Yo...

Aliza's good morning

I woke up 10 minutes before Aliza. Ihave was in the living room when I heard her wake up,  get down from the bed, and walk towards the door. She attempted to turn the knob but couldn't. She then knocked on the door; so sweet. When I opened the door,  she greeted me with a big smile and a small, wooden, square plaque that said "#1 DAD"; sweeter. (The plaque was gifted to us the day before by a friend who is skilled in wood work)
